Oversaw project planning and execution, monitored construction progress, and ensured project goals were achieved on time and within budget.
Project Leader
beta GmbH, BerlinLed a multidisciplinary team of engineers and administrative staff. Introduced management tools to optimize workflows and reduce project costs. Held project decision-making authority (Vertrauensvollmacht). Managed CHP plant projects supplying 30–50 terraced houses with heat and electricity.
Project Engineer
beta GmbH, BerlinManaged maintenance optimization and new project planning for small CHP plants. Responsible for navigating complex regulatory frameworks (EEG, KWKG, EnEV, etc.) and supporting long-term system operation and compliance.
Project Engineer
Theilen Maschinenbau, VarelDesigned and managed international drying system projects for the chemical and food industries. Responsibilities included cost estimation, technical planning, supplier coordination, and on-site customer engagement.
Technical Assistant
Supported the “Callux” project as part of the National Innovation Programme for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP). Focused on analyzing and summarizing operational results from domestic fuel cell systems.
Trainee
Institut für Solarenergieforschung, HamelnContributed to the KES project on underground thermal energy storage for solar heating systems. Analyzed test data and helped build a pilot prototype installed next to residential buildings.
Trainee
Exxon Mobil Production Deutschland GmbHGained hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, working alongside apprentices. Inspired me to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
Education
Academic foundation in mechanical and renewable energy engineering
Master of Science
Carl von Ossietzky University of OldenburgThis international program provided both theoretical and practical training in renewable energy systems. It included a two-month internship abroad. I specialized in wind energy systems.
Master Thesis (M. Sc.)
I conducted my thesis at overspeed GmbH & Co. KG, analyzing a wind-hydrogen storage model in MATLAB. The study tested different system configurations, including electrolyzer and fuel cell output, as well as various forecast datasets (e.g. 5-minute, 30-minute averaged, and exceedance probabilities of 90%, 50%, and 10%). The goal was to evaluate how these factors influence storage behavior. The system was designed for integration into wind farms in Victoria and New South Wales, Australia.
Overall M. Sc. grade: 1.70
Bachelor of Engineering
Jade University of Applied Sciences, WilhelmshavenMy degree focused on mechanical engineering fundamentals, including mathematics, physics, computer science, and core technical disciplines. I also studied heating, ventilation, air conditioning, photovoltaics, and solar thermal systems.
Bachelor Thesis (B. Eng.)
Institut für Solarenergieforschung, Hameln
My thesis focused on the durability and thermal performance of edge seal materials used in flat plate solar collectors. I conducted long-term thermal load tests and used the Heat2 simulation tool to analyze various collector designs. The results were used to estimate temperature load durations in Central and Southern Europe and assess overall heat loss.
Overall B. Eng. grade: 1.83
International Experience
Global insights gained through academic and professional stays abroad
Trainee
University of Victoria, B.C., CanadaAs part of the “West Coast Wave Initiative (WCWI),” I developed a Simulink model of a single-motion wave energy converter with a hydraulic power take-off system. The goal was to simulate and analyze energy output under varying wave conditions.
During my stay, I also participated in the deployment of a wave energy converter off the coast of British Columbia.
Work & Travel
New ZealandSpending nearly a year living, working, and traveling in New Zealand gave me new perspectives and shaped my open-minded, adaptable approach to work and life.
