11/2017 – 03/2019

Project Leader

beta GmbH, Berlin

Led a multidisciplinary team of engineers and administrative staff. Introduced management tools to optimize workflows and reduce project costs. Held project decision-making authority (Vertrauensvollmacht). Managed CHP plant projects supplying 30–50 terraced houses with heat and electricity.

Education

Academic foundation in mechanical and renewable energy engineering
10/2012 – 03/2014

Master of Science

Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg
Postgraduate Programme Renewable Energy

This international program provided both theoretical and practical training in renewable energy systems. It included a two-month internship abroad. I specialized in wind energy systems.

Master Thesis (M. Sc.)

Topic: “Study of a wind hydrogen storage system analyzing different technological configurations and wind power predictions”

I conducted my thesis at overspeed GmbH & Co. KG, analyzing a wind-hydrogen storage model in MATLAB. The study tested different system configurations, including electrolyzer and fuel cell output, as well as various forecast datasets (e.g. 5-minute, 30-minute averaged, and exceedance probabilities of 90%, 50%, and 10%). The goal was to evaluate how these factors influence storage behavior. The system was designed for integration into wind farms in Victoria and New South Wales, Australia.

Overall M. Sc. grade: 1.70

09/2008 – 03/2012

Bachelor of Engineering

Jade University of Applied Sciences, Wilhelmshaven
Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering)

My degree focused on mechanical engineering fundamentals, including mathematics, physics, computer science, and core technical disciplines. I also studied heating, ventilation, air conditioning, photovoltaics, and solar thermal systems.

Bachelor Thesis (B. Eng.)

Institut für Solarenergieforschung, Hameln

Topic: “Temperature load and heat loss of highly efficient, insulated-glazed flat plate collectors”

My thesis focused on the durability and thermal performance of edge seal materials used in flat plate solar collectors. I conducted long-term thermal load tests and used the Heat2 simulation tool to analyze various collector designs. The results were used to estimate temperature load durations in Central and Southern Europe and assess overall heat loss.

Overall B. Eng. grade: 1.83
